Sunrise over the Heath
The magic of sunrise on a misty morning at a Sussex heathland. This was a beautiful morning, and there were many compositions that caught my eye. Sometimes, the simplest images work best, and I think that is true here. The sun had risen above the distant tree line, and its light was shining gently through the morning mist to cast a beautiful pastel glow across the heath. The heathland vegetation was bedecked with dew which glinted and shimmered in the sun. I find this to be a very calming image - just as the view itself was on that September morning.
